About me

It’s really hard to write about myself, but I’ve decided to try. I was born on August 12, 1977, in the second city of Ukraine – Kharkov. Since 5 years I’m engaged in play on a piano. I guess that’s because my mum was music school teacher. In the childhood I played classical music to develop my technics, but only at mature age I began to understand and appreciate creativity of composers: Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Tchaikovsky. At 22-23 I’ve understood, what a jazz is. At 17 I’ve started to learn a guitar and a bass to understand the rock music. My favorite rock bands are Europe and Bon Jovi. And I will always play rock in spite of that’s not marketable goods, this music just needs perfect technics. (I don’t even speak about virtuosity!).

In 1995-1997 I played atmospheric-gothic-doom-metal. We were “Apeiron”, and we played interesting music. But I had to choose, what was music for me – hobby or destiny. I think, my choice’s right. In 2000 I graduated from chemical faculty of Kharkov National university. And I don’t regret it. One year I worked in school. It’s funny! My former pupils are adult people now. I believe, they’ll find their ways. 2.5 years I worked as manager in a trading-civil engineering firm (not bad experience ). Since November 2004 I work in a store of musical instruments, but my future I see related with music and only with it. From 2004 to 2008 I wrote about twenty songs with english lyrics, you can listen it on my site.

In 2009 I made my dream come true writing a brand-new instrumental recording in electronic style “On the edge of eternity”, which is considered like a final product and can be exposed to wide audience. Actually, I decide how to promote my work, hoping it’ll be attractive and interesting for producers, musicians and average listeners. I have great plans on 2010 year. I want to rebuild my songs 2004-2008 period with good vocal and new arrangement. This recording will have the name: “Greatest, but not latest” and I plan to finish it by the autumn 2010.

Legendary Miami Dance Music icons EXOTIC EROTIC return with their latest single “I Try To Hide” on Monitor Sound Recordings produced by childhood friend / famed Dance Music producer and remixer Guiseppe D.

With four Top 40 Billboard Dance Hits such as “Take Me As I Am“, “L.O.V.E.“, “I Can Give You What You Need” and “My Love Doesn’t Suit Ya“, EXOTIC EROTIC were one of the most successful male dance groups to come out of the Miami scene. Originally the backing band for Miami girl super group Exposé, EXOTIC EROTIC were at the forefront of the 80’s dance movement known as Latin Freestyle. Their signing to Atlantic Records heralded an unprecedented period in the post-Disco era reviving the Dance Music scene in America. Erotic Exotic stoop apart from many of their peers that were a self-contained band of actual musicians as opposed to the producer-driven entities that were common during this period.

Their tours in the States and abroad always earned rave reviews, their hits are still played today on various Top 40 radiostations, especially in the Texas, California, Florida and New York markets, and the band seemed destined for superstardom. Tragically, the future of the band was sidetracked by the unexpected death of one of their members, Eric Tallman. Erotic Exotic regrouped in 2000, and have been continuously concerts and clubs ever since. Abroad, Erotic Exotic were also the backing band for the group Technotronic in South America while also being sponsored by Pepsi when they preformed in countries such as Chile were they had a great following as well. During this time, the members of Erotic Exotic were also instrumental in launching other freestyle/dance acts such as Connie (“Funky Little Beat“), Friday Friday (wich features Stevie B.), disco legend Celi Bee, 12th Planet feat. D’Luna (of China Dolls fame), as well as the first Latin Freestyle novelty group Los Sucios (“Sucia”).

Erotic Exotic is also honored with receiving awards at the Freestyle Music Awards and the Miami Dance Music Awards. Now to mark the groups 25th anniversary, Erotic Exotic bring a new sound combining their great musicianship along with those great melodies that the group is known for. Secret wish are an electronic duo from Belgium. Heidi Pintens sings and Kurt Vervaet does all the other bits and sings as well. They jam pop and dance music together in order to put a smile on your face get you up and dancing. Its pure bubblegum, dancey stuff.

Before Kurt was playing as a DJ on company party’s, weddings, …. And all kinda other party’s. He never wanted only to be a DJ, that’s why he wanted to make his own productions and he started searching for the right vocals. That’s how Kurt found Heidi after searching for many months. Since then Heidi is part of “Secret Wish”. She already started with singing from since she was 8 years old. Before “Secret Wish” she was part of some cover bands and other groups.

One thing about Secret Wish, they are not trying to tell you they are something they are not. Pure saccharine pop this, and yes, it will get your tail twitching for the dancefloor. If you like your pop dancey with a good dash of cheese, you found your platter!

The Roads moved to Berlin beginning of March 2009. They are an Indie-Rock-Pop Band. With three writers in the band and three main vocals, they have crafted a repertoire full of passion, energy and catchy melodies. In fact, all 5 members of the band sing!

The lead vocals evoke their Britpop influences but with an identity of their own, while the rest of the band create infectious harmonies. The fusion of piano and guitar adds another layer of melodies to their music and gives their music a lot of variety. THE ROADS album and concerts range from dance inducing rockers to heartfelt ballads, and leave the listener emotionally drained and wanting more!!! If you don’t make it to THE ROADS party, you will complain to your kids that you missed it!!

It’s Time… 2009 and the first release of the year from Kandystand.
On the 9th February, Kandystand release their new single ‘Love Invasion’,
turning up the heat in time for Valentines Day!

The single is a cover of the rare release by Chicago’s own ‘Targa ft Shawn Christopher’, which was originally featured on the Westside Records compilation ‘Jackmaster 2’ back in 1988. It’s one of DJ Alodis’ favorite all time house tracks, and after being re-inspired by the 20 years of house seminar featuring Kevin Saunderson at the Amsterdam Dance Event in October 2008, DJ Alodis revisited his original house collection. Love Invasion made a re-appearance on his decks, and a swift entrance into his studio for a remake.

Kandystand vocalist Katy ‘D’ said ‘As soon as I heard this track, I knew it was a classic and that we just had to get this record out, its full of passion, energy, and its brilliant that we could get it out in time for valentines – it’s time for a li’l loving everywhere’

A remix competition was held in association with DMCWorld.com, and 3 remixes made it to the final release. The release features mixes by Hungarian producers DJ Molek & Adams-X, Lawrence DJ from Italy, and Olivier Guy, a French producer currently living in the UK. DJ Alodis also put together a radio and extended ‘Big Wheels’ remix, bringing the total mixes on the release to six!

Nation In Blue was officially started in september 2005.

However, the story actually began in june of that year, when Håkan Hannu from Sweden, who was the brain behind
“C H Project” and “Blue Star Project”, was introduced to Georgiana Lupescu from Romania.

Håkan was at the time, disillusioned with the music industry and was actually about to end his career as a composer and producer. While Georgiana was (and still is), the composer and lyricist for a group of talented children in Romania which is called “Floare De Colt” (=Edelweiss), but she had always had a dream of singing in her own right for as long as she could remember. Immediatley hitting it off, and finding much common ground both personally and in their music, they decided to form a new musical partnership.

The missing link now, was that they needed a lyric writer for this collaboration, and they found one in Stefan Zadorozny, who recieved the first demo track in his inbox and 15 minutes later had written and emailed back a full lyric for the first song of “Nation In Blue”.

This song was called, “Have You Got What It Takes”.
